About Our Practice
Queen Street Medical Centre has a team of eight General Practitioners, a General Practice Registrar, three Practice Nurses, a Practice Manager, an Assistant Practice Manager and three Receptionists.
We are an accredited teaching practice and regularly teach medical students from Wollongong University the skills of general practice. We also supervise and teach registrars, who are qualified doctors seeking further experience in general practice, and they are with us for six to twelve months.
All practitioners are vocationally registered. One of our strengths is the wide range of doctors with different personalities and a variety of special interests.
Several of the doctors work as Visiting Medical Officers for Murwillumbah Hospital, and patients with serious medical conditions needing treatment in hospital can be cared for by one of these General Practitioners.
